History
Together Mr. Williams and Mr. Collins, as Manufacturers Representatives, established Williams-Collins in 1945. Mr. John VanKampen bought the company in 1962 and ran it until his death in 1969 at which time Mr. Ron Brown Sr. became the third owner. Along with his wife and son, Mr. Brown expanded the company’s growth to include gage design, quality service and exceptional vendor/customer relationships. After Mr. Ron Brown Sr.’s death in 2005, Mrs. Brown and son, Mr. Ron Brown Jr., have taken over the business with complete confidence of continuing the same quality service they are well recognized for. After 60 years of business, Williams-Collins is proud of their regional, national and international customer relations along with their vendor relationships including one of the largest and well-known precision measuring equipment companies, Mitutoyo America Corporation.
